Active Ingredients:

Below you will find a list of the active ingredients that provide moisturizing and plumping effect of CushyLips lip plumper, together with the information on the properties of these ingredients that help your lips become fuller, sexier and plump them.

Macadamia nut oil

The macadamia nut oil used in CushyLips comes from the macadamia tree (Macadamia integrifolia). They often use it in cosmetics as an emollient, so your lips will feel a strong moisturizing effect. Macadamia nut oil is added to both the lip plumper and the lip gloss to give you 100% moisture and soothing effects throughout the day. With Macadamia oil your skin enjoys a rich, soft feel. It also has high oxidative abilities ensuring long lasting moisture locking and nourishment. In some cosmetics the derivatives of macadamia oil are used, but CushyLips contains only pure and natural macadamia oil. No more dry and cracked lips. Your lips will become fuller, softer and will have no sign of scaling due to the macadamia oil in CushyLips. The skin softens and becomes more elastic, so the plumping effects of CushyLips are enhanced and the lips swell more.

Castor Bean Oil

Castor oil is obtained from the castor oil plant (Ricinus communis). Its composition is quite unusual, it contains a highly concentrated ricinoleic acid. This is a monounsaturated fatty acid with valuable and unique biological functions. Ancient Egyptians were using castor bean oil as a body moisturizer. The castor oil in CushyLips contributes to the moisturizing effects of the macadamia oil and vitamins to make your lips soft and smooth.

Vitamin B 12

Vitamin B12 is also called cobalamin, as it contains the metal cobalt. Vitamin B12 is crucial for forming and maintaining healthy blood cells. With the help of Vitamin B12 in CushyLips the blood vessels in your lips will be well nourished which helps the natural filling and plumping effects of CushyLips because more swelling occurs just underneath the skin.

Menthol

Menthol was originally extracted from peppermint and other mint oils. Menthol has mild local anesthetic, moisturizing and anti-irritation properties. Menthol is added to CushyLips to enhance blood flow to the blood vessels under the skin on your lips. It is widely used in lip balms for irritated and chapped lips, in CushyLips it adds to the nourishing properties of the other ingredients. It also activates cold-sensitive receptors in your skin, so when you apply it on your lips they will feel refreshed and cooled.

Camphor

Is a terpenoid extracted from the wood of the camphor laurel (Cinnamonum camphora). It’s an evergreen tree of Asia. In Latin camphor means “Barus chalk”, because of its white color. Camphor has antimicrobial properties and is fast absorbed through the skin on your lips. It has a cooling effect, just like menthol. Camphor also naturally improves blood circulation to plump your lips without any effort. But it’s not greasy, so camphor moistures your lips, still you don’t feel them greasy and sticky. With camphor your lips will feel silky and soft, nourished and filled.

Tocopherol

A more popular name for Tocopherol is Vitamin E. This is a natural antioxidant which prevents and treats damage to your skin on the level of cells! That is, vitamin E penetrates deeply into your skin to mend damaged cells one by one. In the end your skin surface will have a shiny and healthy look. So with healthier and more radiant skin the overall plumping effects of Cushy Lips will work even better, for you to have even fuller lips!

Vitamin E is derived from different plants and nits like almonds, kiwi fruits and mangos. It is also available in different forms: alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherol. Alpha-tocopherol has the highest bioactivity for topical use on the surface of skin. In clinical studies it has shown a great deal of benefits for skin, for example, enhanced general health and look. Vitamin E penetrates deeply into the skin and stimulates the growth of new cells, replacing old cells with the healthy new ones, in order to make skin more elastic and firm. So your plumped lips appear even fuller.

Benzyl Nicotinate

Niacin (also called Nicotinic Acid) and Niacinamide (also called Nicotinamide), two compounds of water-soluble vitamin B complex, take active part in the body metabolism. Chemically they are 3-Pyridinecarboxylic acid and 3-Pyridinecarboxamide respectively. Commercially, niacin is obtained from beta-picoline or from quinoline, which in their turn are obtainable from coal tar. Niacinamide, more water soluble, is the amide form of niacin. When an amide molecule sticks itself to niacin, it becomes niacinamide. The B vitamins niacin and niacinamide are known to prevent pellagra. Niacin is interchangeable in metabolism with its amide, niacinamide. Nicotinamide is hydrolyzed in the acid in the digestive tract of non-ruminants. Having been absorbed in the mucosa, the amide is formed again. In the rumen of ruminants, nicotinamide is converted quickly to nicotinic acid. Nicotinamide and nicotinic acid have therefore equivalent action in use on farm animals. Niacin reduces plasma cholesterol, as a vasodiltor and to treat pellagra. Niacin is used for prevention. Their derivatives are used for these effects. Benzyl nicotinate is used as an intermediate for agrochemicals, feed additives, pharmaceyticals and animal food enrichments.
